Team GWA, Paris – Dakar Rally

Paul Webb has been training with the ‘desert rose racing’ team and technically trained by the world famous 6 times
Paris – Dakar competitor ‘Simon Pavey’.

After setting his sights on entering this rally in July 2008, Paul has spent a good deal of time at Simon Pavey’s ‘off road skills’ centre based in South Wales and completed each level of training. He also participated in this year’s ‘Dawn to Dusk’ & ‘Natterjack’ enduro races before going to Morocco with Patsy Quick’s ‘Desert Rose Racing’ for five days riding across the Atlas mountains & Sahara desert including the famous Cathedral Dunes of Merzouga. Since then Paul has been in regular training with instructor Clive Town (Zippy) at Dunkirk, Salisbury & South Wales.
